Knossos Museum

On this excursion you will get a fully guided tour of the Archaeological site of the Knossos Palace as well as the Heraklion archaeological museum.

The tour starts from rethymno and the guide gives you some information about the history culture and tradition of the island. First you visit the archaeological site of the Knossos palace. Guided by a professional tour guide specializing in archaeological sites you will get a full picture of the minoan culture. Stroll in the ancient palace and learn about the civilization created more than 5.000 years ago. After having explored the palace of Knossos travel to the city of Heraklion and visit the archaeological museum. In the museum learn about more artifacts of the minoan civilization. Again guided by the tour guide, discover the most significant artifacts of the ancient civilization as well as the general archaeological findings of the island.

  • Return to Rethymno
    Back to Rethymno approx 17:00
